MY GOAL IS TO PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE!

My work is meant to make the viewer smile as they see it, fun, cartoon style for much of it anyway! Much of my work is done on a pad, created without getting paint all over me like I did many years back. I kind of like the idea of not being drenched in oil paints! I draw things that interest me as you will see, history, classic cars, trains, and fly fishing to name a few.
I have been creating things throughout my life, starting with drawing and oil painting as a young boy, photography too. I have worked with wood, metal, and paint and now work mostly with digital drawings and photography. I hope you enjoy what I have created. Look back often as there are many additions coming soon.
I spent seven years as a call firefighter and 27 years as a police officer. I have seen the darkest moments in life and society, all moments I would like to forget but they are with me forever. My drawing allows me to see past those experiences and into things that are beautiful, colorful, and humorous at times.
I have developed and operated a museum, been a photographer by trade (aerial photography) and am a published author (When San Francisco Burned by Craven Books Publishing).
I am now retired and have time to draw, take pictures, fly fish, explore, and play with old cars.
